How We Met
September 2012
We both studied in the same faculty at CityU but we were a school year apart. We met for the first time in a large group gathering but we barely talked with each other.
First Conversation
January 2022
Our story began in the most unexpected way. Two hearts found each other during covid when the world felt uncertain. What started as an Instagram conversation about NBA blossomed into late-night Whatsapps, shared dreams, and the realisation that the social gathering ban meant nothing when you found your person.
First Date
March 2022
The butterflies were real as we met for lunch. All the nervousness melted away the moment we talked. It felt like coming home to someone we'd known forever. We spent the entire day exploring the city, talking, laughing, and falling deeper in love.
First Trip
December 2022
After the covid travelling ban was lifted, we decided to take a trip to Bangkok. The trip was an adventure filled with the joy of exploring the city. Every day felt like a new discovery.
The Proposal
August 2024
We went to Paris after getting tickets to the Olympic Men's Basketball Finals. What I didn't know is that Shing planned a surprise proposal. When we were on a dinner cruise passing near the Eiffel Tower, the question was finally asked. With shaking hands and a heart full of love, the ring was presented. Through happy tears and overwhelming joy, the answer was a resounding yes!
Wedding Planning
August 2024 - Present
From venue hunting to wedding shopping, from choosing flowers to writing vows, every decision brings us closer to our special day. The planning process has been a journey of compromise, creativity, and excitement as we design the perfect celebration of our love.
